Your Role:

The Manager, Patient Care Services is a leadership role that has comprehensive operational authority and responsibility for designated clinical area(s). Their responsibilities include: fiscal accountability, maintaining quality and regulatory standards, maintaining a high level of patient/family centered care and service, patient and staff satisfaction, program development, managing and developing teams, and ensuring integration with the clinical enterprise. Provides feedback, coaching and mentoring to less experienced peers and other members of the health care team. The Medical Unit consists of a strong team of engaged staff who value shared decision making and achieving a work/life balance. The team actively pursues opportunities for improvement especially when improvements benefit their patients. The successful candidate will continue to foster teamwork and collaboration amongst team members and will have strong organizational and relationship building skills.

Department/Unit Summary:

The Emergency Room C Pod is an expanding fast-paced stepdown unit for boarded and ESI level patients. It is a diverse patient population, with acuity levels ranging from the acute and critically-ill to non-acute and fast track patients.

This unit requires strong assessment skills, the ability to think critically and adapt to new challenges, along with strong communication skills to care for work with our interdisciplinary teams. It is a great unit for building and developing skills to launch a career in the ED!

Position Shift:

Position Qualifications:


  • Master’s Degree

  • 5 years of experience

  • Active TN RN license
