What You’ll Do

The RN Supervisor - CV is responsible for promoting the mission and values of Hillcrest as an active advocate of providing quality patient care and excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Lead the department in the absence of the manager
  • Coordinate daily work flow to meet patient care needs
  • Collaborate with other supervisors in creation of work schedules, daily assignments, and scheduled time off
  • Participate in new hire on-boarding and education
  • Serve as a mentor, preceptor, and educator to staff when needed
  • Coach staff under the direction of the manager when appropriate
  • Particiapte in regular evaluation of staff's performance and behavior
  • Assist manager with data for quality metrics
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives
  • Supplement staffing in the role of a circulator or charge nurse when needed

What You’ll Bring

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience as an RN in an OR setting required
  • CNOR required within one year
  • Current valid OK State Professional Registered Nurse License
  • Current BLS certification
  • Position requires fluency in English language to function in job environment appropriately
  • Good interpersonal, communication, team-work, and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and follow-through skills
  • Ability to multi-task constantly, react to changes quickly/productively, and tolerate interruptions
  • Ability to perform work when no directions are given, and give directions to others
  • Remain flexible, organized, professional and able to analyze, make sound decisions under stressful or crisis situations
  • Demonstrate knowledge of current computer systems, equipment or programs used in the organization, knowledge of Epic a plus!
  • Demonstrate maturity and accountability
