Provides and coordinates education related to the urgent care area. Functions as a consultant and resource for education, role development, building collaborative partnerships, and research through evidence based practice/quality improvement, orientation/onboarding of new hires and competency management. Responsibilities include communicating with site managers and leadership to identify training needs and map out development plans for teams and individuals.
The educator uses the educational design process to bridge the knowledge, skills, and/or practice gaps identified through a needs assessment.

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Current California RN License; BLS; valid California driver's license
Electronic Health Record skills; Basic Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills. Successful completion of CottageOne credentialing program for all relevant applications within 3 months; AV applications; ease with technical applications such as search engines, online collaboration tools, and websites.
3 years recent experience in a family practice, urgent care or related clinical setting; Training, learning development or unit based education leadership experience.
