The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Augusta Health strives to provide top notch, holistic care for a diverse group of patients and is looking for both new and experienced nurses to join our team. We are a newly renovated 14-bed unit where new and experienced nurses will stretch their skill sets with a patient population involving cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, and complex surgical patients with interventions that include, but not limited to, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), Intra-Aortic balloon pumps, Impella, and Therapeutic Hypothermia. We currently have a Registered Nurse (RN) position open on our ICU . The Registered Nurse is accountable for the coordination of direct patient care, education, and serves as a leader of the patient care team. The RN will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high quality patient care.
A registered professional nurse responsible for the delivery of patient care for assigned patients on a specific shift worked. Coordination of all aspects of the medical plan and nursing standards of care using the nursing process. Also directs and guides the activities of other personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Must be able to provide the care needed as described in the department’s policies and procedures.
