Get to Know Your Team:

• Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.

• The NICU RN Staff Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population in order to achieve desired outcomes.
• This position directs and oversees the care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination.
• This position effectively coordinates patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.
• The RN Staff Nurse reports to the Nurse Manager.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of a NLN/AACN accredited program in nursing
• 1-2 years NICU or Special Care Nursery nursing experiencr
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC)
• Registered Nurse (RN) with New Jersey Board of Nursing

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Neonatal Nursing certification preferred
