• The RN Staff Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population in order to achieve desired outcomes.
• This position directs and oversees the care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination.
• This position effectively coordinates patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services. The RN Staff Nurse reports to the Nurse Manager.

Job Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with New Jersey Board of Nursing or RN Multistate License from the NCL required.
• Graduate of a NLN/AACN accredited program in nursing
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC) required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification (NRP) required.
• 1-2 years Labor and Delivery nursing experience required

Preferred Job Requirements:

• OB nursing certification preferred.
• EFM certification preferred.
