locations Kansas City, KS time type Part time posted on Posted 20 Days Ago job requisition id R-8586 Position Title Clinical Nurse/RN - Cambridge Pre/Post Full Time Cambridge Tower A Position Summary / Career Interest: The Clinical Nurse in the Pre/Post department provides professional nursing care through assessment and accurate documentation, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation for the comfort and well-being of patients. Carries out a plan of care specific to unit competencies for the target patient population. Coordinates care delivery and education through collaboration with patient, family and all health care team providers to ensure safe, effective and quality patient care. Follows organizational policies in providing safe patient care. Performs other duties as assigned. **Multiple Full -Time shifts available** Responsibilities: Provides professional nursing care through assessment and accurate documentation, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation for the comfort and well-being of patients. Our Department of Nursing began working toward this goal in 2002 and received the designation on December 20, 2006. Less than four percent of all hospitals nationwide have earned this distinction since the ANCC developed the Magnet Recognition Program in 1990.  In 2022, the ANCC announced that the health system’s Kansas City Division had received Magnet designation for the fourth consecutive time. 

The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) announced today that The University of Kansas Health System’s Kansas City Division has received Magnet designation for the fourth consecutive time since 2006.

According to the ANCC:
