Under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse, the Certified Nurse Aide performs various duties assisting unit staff nurses and clerical specialists to ensure efficient unit operations and safe patient care following established procedures.

Requirements

  • Must be licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned unit or within his/her department.
  • Must be able to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures.
  • This is a Part-Time Evening - opportunity
