Position Description: RN - Registered Nurse
The RN works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The RN is also responsible for professional accountability and development.
The RN collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care
Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in the departments
Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
We are currently looking for RNs to fill day and night shift openings for the Medical/Surgical units at St. Joseph's Hospital. These units include:
Med/Surg
Observation Med/Surg
ED Observation
Telemetry
Cardiac Med/Surg
Cardiac Surgical
Orthopedics
Neuro
Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Oncology
Pulmonary

Requirements:
RN license
BLS
6 months RN acute care experience
Associates Degree in Nursing

Location: St Joseph's Main
Status: Full Time, Exempt: No
Shift Hours: 7:00AM - 7:00PM or 7:00PM - 7:00AM
Shift: Shift 4
Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies
Weekend Work: Every Other
On Call: No
