Licensed CNA (PRN) Home Health & Hospice

Under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse, the Home Health/Hospice Aide performs various duties assisting hospice and home health patients with personal care and support in their homes. The CNA performs safe patient care following established procedures.

Requirements

• Must be licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Home health/Hospice experienced preferred; at least one year of CNA experience required.
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients assigned
• Must be able to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures.
• Must be able to independently drive to and from patient homes.
