Registered Nurse RN, Labor & Deliver L&D, Full Time, Nights

Position Summary:

The RN Staff Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population in order to achieve desired outcomes. This position directs and oversees the care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination. This position effectively coordinates patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services. The RN Staff Nurse reports to the Nurse Manager.

Position Qualifications:

• Graduate of a NLN/AACN accredited program in nursing
• 1-2 years Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification & BLS Required
• OB nursing certification preferred
• EFM certification preferred
• AWHONN Electronic Fetal Monitoring course to be completed within 6 months of hire
