9 Tower is a fast-paced unit that has various patients daily. Wound care nurses specialize in assessing and treating patients with complex wounds, ostomies, or continence conditions. They work closely with members of patient care teams to ensure that personalized treatment plans are followed correctly in order to prevent future infection or injury. As a unit, 9 Tower practices teamwork and the employees are always willing to support each other. There are many educational opportunities for staff on this unit.
