We are recruiting an Oncology Service Line Administrator (SLA) to join our team! The Oncology SLA will report directly to the CEO of Hillcrest Medical Center and be Responsible for overall campus operations in radiation oncology, infusion services, cancer care, tumor registry support services, and nurse navigation. What You’ll Do To perform this job successfully, an the ideal candidate must be able to perform the following duties sucessfully: Direct oversite of Hillcrest oncology strategy as it relates to hospital chemo/infusion, radiation oncology, women’s imaging, and cyber knife. Includes appropriate oversite of physician practice decisions that are directly connected to the hospital oncology service line and operational efficiencies Direct oversight of HMC Radiation Oncology, HMC Chapman Breast Center, HMC Out Patient Infusion and Tumor Registry and HMC CyberKnife Perform direct supervision of assigned direct reports and activities Monitor and assume responsibility for patient flow and staff communication with patients between service areas Continually monitor patient satisfaction and actively seeks ways to improve patient/customer experience Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, financial performance, and Ardent Health policies Develop and Implement Strategic Plan that will contribute to the goals and financial success of the organization Plans and develops annual budgets, long and short-term goals and objectives for the oncology service line. Demonstrates awareness and appropriateness in the care of patient’s at the end of life Create and Maintain physician relations for purposes of growing and maintain business Actively survey Oncology Industry movement/trends and the impact of the direction of the service line Serve as a liaison between Administration and Physicians. Communicating the needs, goals and strategies of the organization Establish effective strategies for service line with the goal of increasing market share Collaborate with Marketing in efforts to increase market share through marketing material What You’ll Bring Experience · 5 years of experience in Oncology operations required, 7 preferred Education/Certification Bachelor s degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration, or clinical area such as nursing or physical therapy is required Master s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Healthcare Administration (MHA) preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Exceptional verbal and written (including presentations) communication skills required High personal, ethical, and professional conduct Excellent quantitative and analytical skills Strong grasp of business and financial principles Strong problem solving skills Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to serve as productive member and leader of team Ability to develop and present complex concepts to large audiences Excellent computer skills, including word processing, MS Excel, database, graphics, and other relevant software Demonstrated effectiveness in managing and directing departmental operations and human resources, including performance evaluation, training, and professional development A proven track record in the development of quality clinical services Previous experience guiding the design and deployment of multiple service line development plans is required A proven ability to integrate service line development plans with clinical objectives and goals and to work across a wide range of care delivery environments and providers Professional experience collaborating with essential business partners A track record of successfully managing physician relationships, finding common ground, and building commitment around a shared agenda with physician and leadership A strong knowledge of, and experience with budgeting, financial management, and provider billing What We Offer •Competitive pay, bonus incentives, and relocation •Medical, dental, and vision insurance •401k with Company match •Company paid basic life insurance and long-term disability coverage •Generous paid time off, including an additional extended illness bank •Tuition Reimbursement •Advancement and career development opportunities
