  • - Marietta Memorial Hospital is a 199-bed trauma level 3 hospital with an emergency department, two surgery centers, physician offices, and Strecker Cancer Center located in Marietta, Ohio.
  • - Selby General Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital with an emergency department and a focus on providing orthopedic care to patients with a surgery center and inpatient rehabilitation services.
  • - Belpre Medical Campus comprised of a freestanding emergency department and a variety of outpatient services such as pain management, oncology, endoscopy, IV therapy, and physical therapy, just to name a few.
  • - Wayne Street Medical Campus is a physician office complex that provides ease and convenience to patients to obtain services from primary care to specialties such as audiology, ENT, pediatrics, OB/GYN and allergy and immunology.

Participates in bedside shift report/handoff. 2. Performs hourly rounding. 3. Obtains required patient assessments and reassessments per nursing policy. 4. Consistently documents assessments, interventions and outcomes in Meditech within required timeframe. 7. Participates in interdisciplinary rounding and collaborates with team members to identify patient needs. 8. Recognizes changes in patient conditions and communicates with physician using SBAR. 9. Effectively manages patient care and delegates appropriately according to the needs of the patient and the skill of the caregiver. 10. Utilizes appropriate interpersonal communication which facilitates productive relationships with other team members. 11. Facilitates a positive and caring relationship with others by utilizing trust and mutual respect. 12. Establishes a therapeutic relationship between patient, family and self, based on empathy and trust. 13. Promotes a positive patient experience. 14. Seeks help from appropriate resources as needed. 15. Maintains current knowledge of and practices within the scope of hospital policies. 16. Develops a plan of care and teaching plan based on assessed needs of patient and family. Revises same as diagnosis and needs dictate. 21. As part of the nursing process, performs admission, handoff, transfer and discharge procedures. 22. Coordinates with physician's plan of care, the admission assessment and discharge needs. 23. Utilizes A.I.D.E.T. with all patient interactions. 24. Maintains compliance in RQI. 25. Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary. Charge Nurse: In addition to above essential functions, the charge nurse will also: Complete daily nurse leader rounds. Perform shift checks as assigned. Assists with completion of chart audits for nursing documentation as required. Complete staff assignments taking into account the skill level and acuity of patient assignment. Manages throughput on the nursing unit and make changes to assignments as needed. Reports to the nursing unit manager any problems in regards to performance, safety, staffing, behavior, etc. Assists with conflict resolution in the absence of the nursing manager in collaboration with the house supervisor. Role models positive behaviors with staff including integrity, fairness and consistency. Is an agent for change for the department. Assigned and assist as super user for completion of incident report.
