TRANSPORT NURSE - LIFELINK (Job ID: 5061) Work Type: FULL TIME Work Schedule: VARIABLE Location: CAPE FEAR VALLEY MEDICAL CENTER Position Summary: This position functions in accordance with established Cape Fear Valley Medical Center LIFELINK Critical Care Transport Service protocols when performing patient care during transit from one medical facility to another. In addition, the Critical Care Transport Nurse responds to the needs of various hospital units while not performing LifeLINK specific functions/special projects, by performing patient care duties within the health system when accompanied by another Critical Care Paramedic/ Paramedic or Critical Care Transport RN. The Critical Care Transport Nurse also is utilized as a relief driver of the LIFELINK ambulance when needed.
